One the Stars Sent

Voltaire was still restless, trying to decide whether to fix some food, keep watch or just go to sleep. Adair had already decided, having tucked himself away under of Ava's wings and starting to snore.

(I'm also debating on whether or not to change Somelu's age. She currently looks like she's 13 but I might change that to 18, because I have class with this girl who is 19 years old and is literally 4 and a half feet tall. xD Therefore I was inspired to make a shorter adultly-aged person. And I might. I'm not used to rping chars this young and it's odd for me.)

Wavy, white hair spread all behind Somelu on the cave floor as she tried to fall asleep as well, but couldn't. She wanted to know who those creatures were, the ones that approached them in the field. She wanted to know where they were now.

The star-child reached out a silvery hand and touched Voltaire lightly on the shoulder, giving him a curious look. She wanted to, well, communicate with him, about all of these things.

(It's up to you whether to age her or not. Though as a side note, how is she going to tell them her name?)

Voltaire had started to doze despite himself, and jumped at Somelu's touch.

"Eh, what is it?" he asked.

(She can read and write, but the only thing she will ever really write is her name and small things like that.)

In the dust and dirt of the cave floor, Somelu's little fingers wrote out Voltaire's name with an arrow pointing to him. She then wrote her name, S-o-m-e-l-u, underneath it and drew another arrow pointing toward herself.

"So you're Somelu," Voltaire replied. "What are exactly? Where are you from?"

The starchild simply pointed out of the cave mouth and at the sky. She drew a star in the dirt, hoping he understood her vaguely.
