Kimi walked back outside to join Damon, must to the displeasure of Dawn (Who was disappointed that Voltaire didn't try any of the tips he gave him)

Voltaire wasn't concerned with naughty deeds at the moment, as he burrowed underneath the covers of the bed. The mattress seemed awfully big without Kimi there.

Why was he worried so much of Dawn's diagnosis of immenant evolution? It wasn't like he hadn't defied fate before. According to Curtis he must have evaded such things at least fifteen times since he'd known him. This was just another hurdle, another paper tiger.

Damon sent Kimi off after a short while, telling her that there wasn't anything she could do for now.

Kimi smiled as she slipped into the room. "Taire, Are you still awake?" She asked softly.
