"The two of you might not get along" Rook mumbled, shuddering lightly. He tilted his head to allow Ajax more room to get at his neck. "He's not really the happy type"

"It's understandable... A long life will do that to a person..." he muttered, trailing more kisses up and down Rook's carotid artery. He very gently scraped his fangs along the tender flesh, being very careful not to draw blood.

Ajax let out a deep chuckle, right in Rook's ear, and repeated the action. He could hear his heart thrumming in his ears, but he could also hear Rook's heart, beating just as fast. The vampire walked around the room quickly, lighting candles and lamps, and then turned the electric lights off and went to sit on the bed, smiling coyly at Rook. "Going to come join me, Rook?"

Rook clasped his hands tightly behind his back and slowly stepped forward, looking to the floor shyly with his shoulders slightly hunched. He was starting to get the gist of what was going on and was starting to feel a little self-conscious.
