Sweet as Sugar

Melly wandered over to the artist alley, only to find it empty. "Huh? Where is everyone?"

"...Wasn't it really busy a little while ago?" Mu asked

"Yeah, this place is usually always busy," said Melly, exploring further warily. She noticed a piece of paper attached to the wall.

"Gone for the art show in Greenville...Oh that's right, I forgot about that!"

"There's an art show today?" Mu asked

"No, a week from now," Melly answered. "But Greenville's a week away so everybody's left already. It's a really big art show that draws in people from all the surrounding towns."

"Oh." Mu stated. "That makes sense."

"So, looks like we better leave too if we wanna see it," said Melly. "That okay with you?"

"Yeah. That's okay" Mu smiled

"Alright. We're gonna go back to get our traveling stuff and then we'll be good," Melly answered.

"Okay!" Mu smiled. "Let's go get ready!"

"Right," Melly chirped back, going back to her studio.

"Let's see...that should be everything, I think," said Melly, rooting around her art supplies. "Anything here you want to take with you?"

Mu shook his head. "Nope. I'm good"

"Alright then, moving on," said Melly, picking up her bags and heading outside. "You ever been to Greenville?"

"Nope." Mu replied happily. "Have you?"

"Well, there are a lot of Greenvilles, but this one actually deserves the name," said Melly. "Everything's green."

"So you've been to this one?" Mu asked

"Yeah," Melly replied. "I usually go there for the art shows, but sometimes I pass through it going somewhere else."

"You travel a lot don't you?" Mu asked "So you must see a lot of places."

"Yep," Melly answered. "And there are a lot of strange places around. A lot of beautiful ones too, and dangerous ones."

"I bet you're prettier" Mu smiled.

"Silly. That's like trying to say whether a portrait of ice cream is prettier than a picture of a deer," Melly teased. "You can't really compare them."

"Sure you can!" Mu grinned. "Its a matter of opinion"

"It's exactly because it's a matter of opinion that it won't work," said Melly. "If you like ice cream you pick the ice cream. If you prefer deer you pick the deer."

"So?" Mu chirped.

"So? What if it's a bad picture of a deer and a good picture of ice cream, but you pick the deer just because you like deer better?" asked Melly. "That's not very fair."
