Mu cheerfully hung by the tree with his knees, collecting the sweet ripe apples and using the inside of his shirt as a basket. Despite his length he looked like a child, an adorable grin plastered on his face and his short bushy hair hanging around his face.

A long bushy tail, white and red rings wavered and flicked behind him for balance.

His tan chinese styled outfit was reminiscent of his homeland in the east and caused his freckles to stand out against his pale skin.

Melly sat against a tree, sketching out the environment. She wasn't much for scenery art usually, but this area was so fascinating. The leaves were all colors except green, and the trunks were either white or black. She drew almost feverishly until an apple fell on her head.

"Ow," she said, before looking up and seeing something, or someone, hanging from the trees.

Mu had slipped, one leg falling free and all his hard gathered blue apples were threatening to spill. He finally managed to get his balance, with only one leg, and breathed a sigh of relief. "That was close." he mumbled, before reaching for another apple.

Melly watched in fascination for a moment. Whatever or whoever it was, it was so cute.

"Hello!" she shouted in greeting.

Mu's head tilted to see who was below him.

"...Hello?" he asked. His face split back into its grin. "HI!"

Melly started climbing the tree to get closer. She wanted to draw him. She wasn't very good at climbing trees though, so it was a clumsy and somewhat hazardous effort.

Mu watched her. He wasn't very bright to begin with, but that didn't make him any less friendly.

"Hi, I'm Mu! I"m a red panda! What's your name pretty lady?"

Melly felt her cheeks turn a little pink. She wasn't used to be being called a lady, much less a pretty one.

"I'm Melly! So you're a red panda? I didn't know pandas could be red. I've only seen black and white ones," replied Melly, before nearly slipping down.

"Yeah! We're alot smaller than the other pandas though." Mu grinned at her. "But we have nicer tails!" He held out an apple towards her. "Apple?" He offered "They're sweet"

Melly tried to reach out, but nearly lost her balance. She clung to the tree, knowing her next mistake up this high could be her last.

Mu tilted his head. He held his shirt closed and grabbed the branch under his leg and let go with his legs to flip. He landed on his feet, crouched, on the same branch as Melly. He got another apple from his shirt and held it out, much closer to her now, so she wouldn't fall. "Here" He grinned.

"Thanks," Melly said, taking the apple. "Sorry, I'm not really that good with climbing tress."

"Its okay. Not many humans are" Mu confided. "Do you need help down?"

"Uh..." she began, looking down. It made her slightly dizzy. "Well, if you don't mind..."

"Kay-kay" Mu grinned. "Just give me a minute" He jumped out of the tree and deposited his apples at the base in a neat little pile. Then he climbed back up to Milly. "Climb on my back, then I'll climb down real slow for you"

"Um..." Melly began, somewhat embarrassed. She preferred to help people, not the other way around. Still, the vertigo-inducing heights spooked her a little. "Uh, okay," she finally replied, pocketing her apple.

Mu grinned again and turned his back to her to sit, straddling the branch.

Carefully Melly climbed onto his back, feeling a little uncertain despite witnessing his prowess in the trees.

Mu hooked his legs under the branch and let himself roll over and hang upside down. Holding onto Melly with one hand and the branch with the other, he carefully dropped to the next branch. He proceeded to drop to the next branches on a similar fashion. When they were finally to the ground, He set her down carefully. "Better?"

Slightly dizzy from all the twisting and turning, Melly replied with a somewhat disoriented "Yeah".

Mu frowned a little in worry. "Are you okay Melly?" he asked softly.

"Yeah," she answered. She dismounted only to stumble back into Mu. "Well, I'll be okay in a minute. I'm not used to going upside-down and back so much."

"Sorry" Mu pouted. "I didn't mean to make you dizzy"

"It's okay," Melly replied. "I'm just not used to it. I get dizzy easy anyway."
