Thunderstorm

Ross shrugged. "He's an old friend of my dad so he can't be that bad. I mean he keeps the peace around here and all."

"Do you know him yourself?" asked Mikaela.

Ross nodded. "Yeah. I know him through my dad and the coach. He's an odd guy but usually alright."

"Alright," Mikaela answered. "I know plenty of weirdos anyway."

Ross grinned. "I think we all do."

"True," Mikaela answered. "The only normal people are the ones we don't know well, as they say."

Ross nodded and grinned. "Then this way to the offices." He smiled and led the way.

Mikaela followed, looking around at all the buildings as she went.

Ross smiled and looked around, making sure he was going the correct way as he ducked into a fairly large building with a clock tower. "This is the right building. Shouldn't be much further."

"Cool," Mikaela replied. She checked to make sure the Prince hadn't drifted off somewhere. He was still following.

Ross nodded. Taking a few flights of stairs to the fourth floor. Rows of doors lining the hall way, a glass wall with a door at the end. "This shoudl be it."

"Alright," Mikaela answered.

Ross nodded and chuckled, walking up to the glass wall and peeking the door open, grinning at the sight of the angel sitting in one of the chairs in the front office, a very annoyed demon woman keeping an eye on him as she typed. They both seemed to be caught in a glaring contest that wasn't going to end any time soon. "Looks like his son's here too...this should be funny."

"They not get along well?" asked Mikaela, keeping a wary eye on the situation.

Ross shrugged. "The kid is just a smartass. Nothing to worry about. He usually has somthing to say about anything thogh."

"So another Blondie. Joy," Mikaela answered dryly.

Ross chuckled. "He isn't a blonde. Just come on and watch what you say, he is vicious for a kid."

"The Blondie I know is a smartass," Mikaela clarified. "If I can deal with him I can handle this guy."

Ross nodded. Making his way into the front office, being greeted with an annoyed voice. "Hey there flea-dip. Who did you get in trouble with this time? Did you threaten to beat up a frat boy again?" Ross froze at the young man's voice and twitched at the unpleasent nickname.

"He's here to introduce me and my...friend," answered Mikaela coolly, deciding not to reveal the Prince's royal status just yet. "So you're the son?"

The boy looked over them both with a hint of annoyance. "Yes I am. Who exactly are you two. I've never seen you before around the district." He put down his book and crossed his arms, white wings shifting behind him anxiously, almost not visable as if he was trying to hide them.

"If we knew our way around, we wouldn't need to be introduced," she replied coolly. "Anyway, I'm Mikaela. This is Prince...the Prince. We're thinking of living here."

Nate nodded and looked them both over. "Good luck with that. You two will probably be wiped out amoung all the people. It tends to be what happens to new people to the island."

"Eh, we can fight better than the average human," Mikaela answered lazily as she walked by. She gave him a little jolt as she passed.

Nate jumpped slightly at the shock and glared. Ignoring that Ross laughed as they passed and went down the hall. The door to the main office open, showing a fairly tall dark haired man, a streak of white going down the strands that covered his right eye.
