Saving Soul

"Later," Adair replied. Ava waited until she was out of sight before heading for the caves nearby.

It wasn't too long of a walk before Anja was in town. She headed straight for a clothes store, eager for better fitting clothes.

Adair was restless as he waited back at the cave. He hoped nothing would go wrong this time. The latest clash with his family was still fresh on his mind, and it made him worry. Ava fussed over him to calm him down some. Voltaire just slept.

Anja came back around sunset. "I think I got everything" She stated as she walked into the cave.

"Hi Anjy," Ava chirped.

"Welcome back," said Adair.

Voltaire gave a lazy wave.

Anja put down a rather impressive sack. "There's everything you all asked for." She smiled. She still held a sack less than half the size of the big sack. "And this is my stuff."

Both Adair and Voltaire came over to sort through the larger sack. It wasn't hard for them to tell which stuff was meant for who.

Anja walked to the other side of Ava. "I'm changing now so stay over there."

"Alright," Adair called back, continuing to sort his new things. It looked liked he would had enough clothes to last him a while.

Anja slipped into a pair of kapree pants and a tanktop. Then she pulled out a brush and sat down to really brush her hair.

"Looks like she managed to get some good stuff," remarked Voltaire.

Adair nodded. He was just glad nothing bad had happened.

"Well I am a girl after all." Anja replied, using the comment Voltaire had made earlier. "What did you expect?"

"Fair enough," Voltaire replied, looking over the extra bullets. "By the way, I want my gun back whenever you're done changing."

"Its in the bag. Wrapped in a shirt I think." Anja replied.

"Oh," said Voltaire, as he inadvertently unwrapped his gun as he inspected the shirts. "Found it."

Adair was busy packing things away. "So are we going back to the thieves' den later, or are we moving on?"

"We're going back of course. I got that big bag for the gold, and even put your clothes in it" Anja stated

"That's what I thought," said Adair.

"It's late for travel though," said Ava, looking out to the orange-red sunset. "And I don't know if going to a thieves' den at night it a good time."

"It's be the perfect time to raid it again," said Voltaire. "The thieves are out robbing at night. I doubt they would be in."

"We should go soon then," said Ava.

"Why don't we go and leave our stuff here while we're gone?" Anja asked

"Because it may or may not be here when we get back," replied Voltaire. "Though I suppose it would be a good laugh: we go steal from others only to get stolen from ourselves."

"Anja could summon something to guard it," Adair replied.

"That's kind of what I was suggesting" Anja stated

"Guess we could do that then," Voltaire replied. "Making going there and coming back easier."

"Give me a minute then." Anja stated. "I can summon the earth elemental and it can seal off the cave for us"

"Alright," Adair replied. He and the others moved outside so they would be sealed in.

Anja summoned her earth element and gave it instructions before joining them outside.

The boys were already on Ava's back.

"Ready?" asked Ava.
