"...I don't remember any of that," Adair admitted, though he believed it. He had this weird pain in his back that other time too. "Uh, sorry? I didn't ram into anyone, did I?"

"No, but you startled me" Anja grumbled.

"Sorry," Adair replied. He found it all very strange. Who heard of wings that you couldn't control?

"Well then stop doing it." Anja snapped.

"How am I supposed to stop doing it if I don't even remember doing it in the first place?" asked Adair.

Anja shrugged over dramatically.

Adair sighed in return. "I dunno, wake me up or sit on me or something next time it happens. I don't want to wake up one day and not know where I am or how I got there."

"Will do" Anja stated.

"Same," Voltaire replied. "By the way, we're fighting the Ravens tomorrow."

Anja pursed her lips. "Can I fight?" She asked with a smirk. "I still haven't gotten even with what's his face."

"Omen," Voltaire replied. "Thought you would want revenge on that peeping Tom. He's a general pain in the ass anyway."

Adair felt embarrassed even remembering it, but nodded in agreement.

"So who's going to fight with me?" Anja smirked.

"I'm guessing you want to beat the crap out him too," Voltaire said, turning to Adair.

"...Yeah, pretty much," Adair answered flatly.

The Hunter laughed at the blunt response. "You go ahead then."

"Alright now who wants to lend me a flame proof shirt" Anja smirked

"You'll be swimming in anything Adair has," Voltaire answered, as he began to sort through his clothes. "But yeah, should have something for that. Can't have Mr. Hero too distracted during the battle, can we?"

Adair shot him a glare, but knew he couldn't argue.

"Well it would be a half bad tactic against the damn Ravens. But if I'm fighting with Addy I can't do it." Anja replied

"Probably would work on Ruben," Voltaire noticed some amusement. "Omen would either not be affected much or be a little too effective. Though I suppose the latter gives Mr. Hero extra incentive to beat the crap out of him."

"Let's not go there," said Adair flatly.

"Why not?" Anja purred, crawling over to him on her knees. "If it doesn't work, you can always punish me later"

Adair flushed a bit. "Well, because-it'd just be too distracting."

Anja chuckled and crawled into his lap. "Then shy don't you let Voltaire fight? It doesn't distract him"

"I thought this was your personal fight against the Peeping Tom," said Voltaire. He tossed Anja a shirt. "Here. I remember soaking that in dragon's blood. Should make it somewhat more fireproof."

"It is, but that doesn't include the poor boy that stumbled in on it on accident." Anja replied.

Voltaire laughed. "Ruben saw you guys too?"

"Yeah..." Adair replied with some embarrassment, nuzzling Anja's hair. "But like Anja said, it was an accident. I could tell by the way he freaked out."

"What were you guys doing?"

"What do you think?"

"There are so many ways to answer that question."

"I still had pants on" Anja defended half heartedly. " He only saw my chest."

"Did Mr. Hero have his pants on?" asked Voltaire, glancing over to Adair. He laughed as Adair's face turned red. "Well there you go. You scared ol' Ruben off with your manly manliness."

"...Anyway, I would like to fight in the match tomorrow," Adair stated, trying to change the subject.
