Ross nodded. "I know a guy like that sort of. He just eats everything though. Not just the blood. He's ripped flesh and ran before. Hard to catch him too. No one knows what he really is. His scent is too covered by the rot of decaying flesh to really tell..." He shrugged.

"Sounds like a zombie," remarked Mikaela.

"Curtis isn't like that though," said the prince.

"Most zombies aren't like Curtis," Mikaela went on. "Most are just all 'Braaiiiiiins' and stumble around eating people."

"Why isn't Curtis like that?" asked the prince. "I mean, I'm glad he's not like that, but why is he not like that?"

"'Cause Raizin used some kind special resurrection technique on him," answered Mikaela. "And he gets constant treatment every day to keep him from deteriorating into that. Shots all the time. Wouldn't Phoenix boy love it?" She laughed.

Ross chuckled. "I don't think he's that way. I think he does it for fun more then anything. It isn't hard to hold a conversation with him as long as you keep feeding him things. Not to mention...well...he eats things other then people. Like tires, chairs, doors, books. It's freaky."

"Oh," Mikaela replied. "Well I don't know what that makes him then. I don't know many things that can eat tires. Or would eat tires."

"Maybe he's just greedy," offered the prince.

Ross shook his head. "Greed has nothing to do with it. I think he's just insane. It isn't even hard to tell he's blind as a bat. It's actually kind of sad." He sighed. "Poor blind crazy hungry dude."

"I think I'd rather not meet him," said Mikaela. "It was bad enough when that vampire guy tried to make a meal of me."

"But you gave him a good shock, right?" replied the prince, giving off a few sparks and nearly zapping Ross.

"Yeah. It seemed to work too."

Ross frowned a bit and moved away from the prince. "Yeah...I figure punching guys in the face works fine. As far as weird women I tend to make a run for it."

"Well you'd better run now," said Mikaela with a smirk, poking him and giving him a small deliberate zap. "I don't know what I count as, but I'm pretty sure it's not normal."

Ross yipped and jumped a bit away. "Hey, as long as you don't run naked into the lockerroom and cause trouble you're pretty damn normal to me."

Mikaela raised an eyebrow and a smirk. "Personal experience?"

Ross nodded and grumbled. "Yeah. Crazy chick. I didn't even notice she was there till another of the guys screamed at her for being in there. Weird...just weird."

Mikaela snorted. "I'd think the boys would like that."

"Why?" asked the prince. "I wouldn't want a naked girl coming my room either."

"You're understand better when you're older."

Ross shook his head. "The chick was crazy. Crazy is not appealing. She wasn't even that cute. I think it was the creepy look in her eyes."

She thought about some people she knew with that look. "Yeah, I guess you have a point. So any of your friends werewolves too?"

Ross shook his head and sighed. "I don't really know any others. So far I'm the only one most have seen around the school. I was adopted so my parents are not even weres."

"You go to school?" asked Mikaela, before pausing. "...What's school anyway? Some kind of social place?"

Ross blinked in suprise and shook his head. "School's a place of learning. I go to Gentech University, the friend I came here with goes there too, does this mean you've never been to school?"

"Nope," Mikaela answered.

"Teachers have come to me before," said the prince. "I never had to go to teachers before though. That sounds strange."

Ross shrugged. "It's nice. You can meet people and learn new things. You should really come to the campus and look around. It's a good way to meet a few not crazy creatures." He chuckled.

"I might consider it. It sounds interesting," Mikaela admitted. Of course she doubted Quetzalcoatl would want her doing anything else but tournaments, so that would be tricky. "Where's it at? Is it near here?"

Ross shook his head. "It's on an island south west of Italy. It's a lovely place though and filled with interesting people. My friend and I used a powerful telaporting spell to make it here and hopefully it will work to get us back too. Though he probably still can't get in the car with out me....I have the keys." He grinned cheekily and held up the car keys. A bit of smugness over Celio being unable to leave without him.

Mikaela and the prince eyed the keys with curiosity. They had seen keys before, but not those kind of keys.

"This car must be a pain if you need so many keys to unlock it," remarked Mikaela.

Ross chuckled softly. "They are not all for the car. I also have the keys to my dorm and a few other places." He poked around through the keys as he talked. "Though I don't know where some of them go to."

"Do you have that many keys because you're a teacher?" asked Mikaela. This was all new to her. Her learning mostly came from what she picked up from the prince's lessons.

Ross laughed softly. "No, I'm a student. I just have keys because I never think to get rid of the useless ones."
