Saving Soul

"That's how you use someone for target practice." Anja grumbled. "Not some sissy fire breathing when they're fireproof."

"The point is that you practice breathing fire," Adair answered. "So if you need a target anyway, why not use Taire since you're mad at him?"

"Because I don't want to give him the satisfaction." Anja grumbled. She hunched over her knees slightly, plotting.

Adair began plotting as well. "...We could use his contraptions. They're not fireproof."

Anja looked at Adair like he was a genius. She grabbed his face and kissed him roughly. "Brilliant!" She breathed when they parted.

"U-Uh, you're w-welcome," Adair stammered, not expecting the sudden kiss. Not that he didn't enjoy it. "Those damn things annoy me anyway."

"We should tie him up and make him watch" Anja snickered.

"I don't know what we would tie him up with," Adair mused lazily, leaning against her again. "He can burn through most things."

"He can't burn through an earth element" Anja smirked.

"Oh, like what you summoned back at the cave?" asked Adair. "Or is this different?"

"The very same." Anja chuckled darkly. She gave Voltaire and evil smile

"I thought that was a water element though," Adair said, slightly confused. He wasn't sure if this was such a good idea, but it was fun to plan.

"Wrong instance. I summoned an earth element after the water one." Anja replied. She smirked suddenly and leaned closer to the hero. "Why don't we go for a little walk?" She suggested. "Get rid of all this pent up frustration."

"Uh, sure," answered Adair. He suspected what she really wanted wasn't a walk. But that was fine with him.

Anja stood up, still smirking. "Come on then" She chuckled.

"Coming, coming," Adair answered casually as he stood up and began to follow her.

Anja took his hand and started walking, only leading him slightly. "I think I like your devious side, Adair." She chuckled. "You're such a bad boy."

Adair chuckled some. "You have to be devious if you're going to survive being around Taire." He kissed the back of her ear.

Anja shuddered. She didn't give in just yet though, they were too close to the caves still.

"I like your devious side better too," Adair went on, smiling. "I don't like to see you sad."

"Do you now?" Anja chuckled. "Well, why don't we see just how devious we can be"

"Yes, why don't we?" answered Adair casually, though he was getting impatient. He nibbled at her ear this time.

Anja inhaled sharply and stumbled. "Addy!" She protested lightly. "We're too close to the caves"

"...Right," Adair replied, half in annoyance and half in embarrassment. "Whenever you're ready then."

Anja suddenly smirked. "Unless you want to be that way where they can hear us. You're not exactly quiet you know." she purred, pressing against him.
