They slept on until the next day. For once Voltaire woke first. He yawned loudly.

Voltaire smiled and gently nuzzled her hair, breathing in her scent.

He heard Adair groan in his sleep, probably from a nightmare. Ava, already awake, fussed over him. It seemed to help, as the redhead became peacefully quiet again.

Voltaire chucked lightly, giving her a kiss.

"Volty, you awake?" asked Ava, seeming unusually alert.

"Sort of," Voltaire replied. "Might not be for long."

Kimi grew a little restless in her sleep. Nothing indicating she was having a nightmare, just an active dream

Some time later (Voltaire wasn't sure when) Adair woke up and he and Ava soon left to get something to eat. They asked if he wanted to join, but he declined. Kimi was still sleeping and was starting to fall back asleep himself.

Kimi woke suddenly with a start. she sat up and looked around in confusion, as if wondering where she was.

"I had the strangest dream" Kimi admitted, slowly laying back down. "But now I can't remember it"

"I hate it when that happens," Voltaire replied. He knew he had a few of those kind lately. "Can you remember anything at all?"
