Rain Dance

"Yeah?" asked Voltaire.

"Well, when one of my race decides they want to stay with a human the rest of their lives, they... They share their horns." Kimi murmured

"Share their horns?" questioned Voltaire. He remembered her mentioning horns before, but she had no horns he could see.

Kimi nodded. "It makes them more... Sturdy."

"Sturdy? As in being able to take hits better?" asked Voltaire. He remembered how the soldiers he fought back a couple tournaments ago kept on coming after repeated attacks.

"Stronger... More like us. So its easier for us to be with them." Kimi replied. "They gain some of our abilities too. Like the healing and longevity. Taire, we age differently."

"...I see. Makes sense," Voltaire replied. " Will this make my blood turn green?"

Kimi gave a soft giggle. "No, your blood won't turn green." she replied

"Thought I'd ask," Voltaire replied with a casual shrug. "Don't need Adair or Ava spazzing out over a new blood color. How exactly does this work, anyway?"

"I can't do it by myself. We would have to go to Damon." Kimi mumbled.

"Damon?" asked Voltaire.

"He's an exile. He's lived on earth for almost a thousand years."

"A thousand years?" questioned Voltaire. "How long do you guys usually live for?"

"Nobody knows. Angels always kill us at some point." Kimi replied softly.

"Oh," Voltaire replied. "...Does this mean I need a new pet name for you?"

"No, You're fine. The Angels kill us because usually we attack first." Kimi replied. "That or they stop us from killing humans. But demons like Negau and I who are peaceful don't have to worry"

"Oh okay," Voltaire replied. "So do you know where this Damon guy is?"

Kimi's face flushed slightly. "Um... Not really. Last time Trevor led me there" She murmured

(posting will probably be slower cause I'm on the old computer and I'm playing Sonic Chronicles on my DS :P. Oh, and I saw the pics. They were cool)

"Guess you can always use Trevor again," Voltaire replied with a shrug. "Unless it's really close we can't go now anyway due to the tournament."

"No, its not nearby. I'm sure of that much" Kimi murmured softly

"So we can't get it done right now anyway," said Voltaire, now searching around the cave entrance. "Where were those flowers you were talking about?"

"Ah, over here" Kimi replied, directing him to a small area of brightly colored flowers growing in the shade just around the cave entrance. "See?"

"Oh, over here," Voltaire replied as he came over, wondering how he missed such bright flowers in the first place. "Yeah, these should do nicely." He began to pick some of them.

Kimi crouched down and picked flowers as well. She had a nice, small bouquet of flowers in no time.

Voltaire soon had a good bunch of flowers as well. "That should be good. Any more flowers and Mr. Hero will think I'm trying to propose to him or something."
