Rain Dance

"Well I've been in exile for over a thousand years." Damon stated. "Though I'm only, say, in my mid twenties by human standards."

Voltaire got the feeling that asking for specific birthdate would be pointless. "You look different than Kimi does."

"Because I am a Beta species while she is an Alpha." Damon replied. "Any more questions?

"Yeah, I have one" A voice behind him stated. Everyone looked to see another man (thinner than Damon) that looked almost completely human except for his orange eyes and the glowing orange marks on his visible skin (which was a lot since he was only wearing a pair of loose pants.) The man tossed his long sand colored hair over his shoulder. "You coming back to bed or what?"

For a moment, a look similar to having been caught with his hand in the cookie jar flashed across Damon's face. "Dawn, we have guests." He stated.

"Its late, you're warm, I want to sleep" Dawn replied simply "Is that too much to ask?"

"Hi Dawn" Kimi chirped.

"Hello Princess Kimi"

"Hey," Voltaire greeted. "So you're the Angel?"

"I am an angel, yes." Dawn replied with a little yawn.

"Are there alpha and beta versions of you guys too?" asked Voltaire.

"No. We have Angels and Archangels. But that has nothing to do with looks. Archangels draw most of their power from something in nature." Dawn stated "Like I'm a sun Archangel, and draw my powers from the sun." He looked to Damon pointedly.

"So go to sleep."

"But you're warm, and I like to cuddle" Dawn stated, trying to pout at him.

Damon's face darkened ever-so-slightly. "Guests" he hissed

Voltaire had a feeling that he had no need to worry about any competition from Damon. Apparently he worked for the other camp. He leaned against Kimi sleepily.

Damon tossed a pendant to Adair. "Take your familiar out to my barn. That charm will keep you invisible to humans." He stated.

"Sounds like Ava needs it more than I do," said Adair, examining the pendant. "But thank you." He went out to get Ava.

Damon looked to Voltaire and Kimi. "Now why did you come to see me?" He asked, crossing his arms.

Kimi blushed and looked to her lap.

Voltaire straightened back up. "Kimi mentioned something about sharing horns."

"Absolutely not" Damon replied without hesitation.

Kimi looked up at him in surprise.

"Why not?" asked Voltaire, wondering if he had managed to somehow give a bad impression. Was it because the cute little kitty didn't like him?

"Because your Familiar wouldn't like it. That and the cerimony would take at least a week to set up." Damon replied.

Kimi pouted. "But I want to share my horns with him..."

"That long?" asked Voltaire. "How does the ceremony work exactly?"

"A potion has to be made, it takes seven days. Then the ceremony is set up. Finally, the potion is used to remove the demon's hors and transfer them to the human." Damon replied. "Its painful, even for us"

"Another reason I'm glad we have Halos." Dawn commented

Voltaire laid a hand over Kimi's. "Why wouldn't my familiar like it?"

"To get at the horns and to place them, I would litterally have to rip open your chest." Damon stated

"...Oh," Voltaire replied. "No, she wouldn't like that at all."

Kimi continued to look to her lap.

"But I guess I can, Only if you can get your familiar to agree." Damon stated

Voltaire nodded, trying to figure out how he would do that. Ava was very protective. Even Adair would be hard to convince.

"Or you could fib and do it anyway. Keep them busy for a few hours for the actual cerimony" Dawn stated

"Dawn, shut up!" Damon hissed

"How ironic for an Angel to suggest lying," Voltaire noted with a smirk. He suspected lying might be his only option though, if he really wanted to go through with it. "How much would my familiar sense during the ceremony?"

"You'll be somwhat sedated." Damon replied.

Dawn shrugged. "Exiled Angel, remember?"
