Some Things Just Can't Be Understood

"That's cool" Pheobie replied. She giggled lightly. This was exactly the type of place she would like their baby to grow up around.

"Of course sometimes they have trouble finding them. The environment's bright, so bright animals are camoflauged here," Maple went on. A flock of fuschia birds erupted from a fushia-colored tree, susprsing Maple. "...Example!"

Pheobie giggled happily.

"Of course people come here to gather and sell the plants as well," Maple continued. "Either way the rangers here have to approve of everything first. Wouldn't want this place getting too plundered."

"Of course" Pheobie smiled.

"Real estate here costs a pretty penny too," added Maple, before lowering his voice. "Of course, that's what the GS is for. Well, not really, but close enough."

"Don't worry about it" Pheobie smiled. "Just remember that I can make anywhere we go like this."

"True," Maple replied. "But here you wouldn't have to do any work."

"Yeah..." Pheobie sighed almost wistfully.

"Well, there are still plenty of other places to see," reminded Maple. "We only have the whle universe to pick from."

Pheobie nodded happily. "I know"

"They're still trying to figure out what makes this place so colorful, you know," Maple went on as they passed over a neon-green stone bridge. "They've gone through everything from minerals to nutrients to the water supply. But they still don't get it." Maple laughed.

"Do you?" Pheobie asked

"Not in the least," Maple admitted. "I do not know everything dear. I just like to think I do."

Pheobie giggled. "Well you do~"

"Oh? How do you know that?" asked Maple with a grin.

"Cause I know you" Pheobie grinned

"Do you?" Maple asked a bit devilishly. "Are you sure you Professor Skye Maple?"

"I do know Professor Skye Maple." Pheobie replied.

"Well then...guess I can't argue with that," Maple replied jokingly.

"You wouldn't win anyway" Pheobie smiled

"Probably not," Maple admitted. "Not even Professor Maple knows much about Professor Maple."

Pheobie couldn't help but giggle. "Is that so?" she asked

"That is what I suspect," Maple replied with mock seriousness. "Perhaps I'm just too close to the subject matter to give an accurate analysis."

Pheobie promptly burst into giggles and was unable to stop herself.
