Some Things Just Can't Be Understood

"What about your one friends? Um, Ava and Adair and Voltaire? Don't they live in the mountains?"

"They're outlaws. They don't live anywhere," Maple explained. "Maybe in a few years they'll finally find some peace, but not now."

"Oh..." Pheobie frowned. "Well what about your first world place? Where all your friends were?"

"Corrupted cesspool," replied Maple. "It's all but collapsed into the silver void by now."

"The one were were at not too long ago? Where Groovy and Adaline were?" Pheobie asked in confusion

"That might not be too bad, actually," Maple mused. "The area we were was an unstable one, but there are several regions that are both stable and more-or-less peaceful."

Pheobie smiled. "And I'm sure Groovy and Adeline would like being home again"

"Adrianne," Maple corrected. "And yes they would be."

Pheobie blushed slightly. "Sorry" She mumbled, leaning against him

"It's alright. She's been misnamed many things," Maple replied. "Adrianna, Anniedine, Artichoke. Important thing is she's not here at the moment to hear it."

"Does she get mad?" Pheobie asked softly.

"She gets irritated like anyone whose name is said wrong," Maple replied with a shrug.

"She already doesn't like me..." Pheobie pouted

"Adrianne doesn't like many people," said Maple. "Her past is a bit abusive, with the Battle Factory and whatnot."

"Oh" Pheobie mumbled

"She does seem to like Mr. Kitty though," Maple added. "And Mr. Kitty likes you, so maybe that'll help."

Pheobie smiled lightly. "Maybe"

"Don't worry about her too much. She likes acting tough for the sake of being tough," said Maple. "Once she gets more used to you she'll warm up more."

"Okay" Pheobie smiled. she nuzzled Maple's side.

"Anyway, the Pokemon world should be good," Maple went on. "For one it's a good place for Goldie."

Pheobie smiled. "So when will we go there?" She asked

"Anytime you feel like it," Maple replied. "Though I suppose we should go there pretty soon, considering we'll need to pick out a place and then furnish it, and then baby stuff, and all of that."

Pheobie nodded. "Okay"

There was a dismissive ding from the ship. "Ah, we have arrived at the vacation spot!"

"I thought we were going to see the boys first" Pheobie stated, looking up at him.
