"From what I heard, Blondie did," Mikaela replied with a shrug. "Gave his heart to make sure Fiery didn't die from Chiscurwhatever, went through the usual sickness, then was right up being a Phoenix ever since. Then again, he's not normal."

"That's how a lot of people think: Fiery's nice, Blondie's not," Mikaela answered. "Everyone always assumes it's Blondie's fault for them being here, and it always pisses him off. It's funny. I still don't understand why Fiery was stupid enough to give his heart away in the first place. Of course I and everyone else here are ones to talk..."

The Prince had left a while ago, hanging out around Barrett. The old Cat chatted but seem more interested in his meal than royalty.
