Saving Soul

"I will." Anja stated. She got up, leaving her food, and calmly walked over to the dragons. "Hi, I'm Anja, the new Pheonix" She introduced herself.

Mikaela had been trying to get the Prince to eat his food instead of playing with it. "Oh hey, you're the chick who nearly got herself killed. Gotten used to being a changeling yet?"

"Well enough to kick blondie's ass." Anja smiled smugly. "May I sit? I have something to discuss with you, Mikaela right?"

"As long as you don't try to eat our food, sure," Mikaela replied.

"Why take yours? There's a whole bar to pick from" Anja stated. She sat across from her. "So I need to talk to you about Voltaire"

"I was being sarcastic," Mikaela replied boredly. "And what about Blondie? He bothering you too?"

"No, He's afraid of me" Anja replied. "No, what I want to talk about involves dangerous grounds for men to tread: Feelings."

"Afraid? I thought he was too stupid to feel fear," Mikaela remarked with a smirk. "Anyway, I suspect I know where this is going, but go ahead."

"He's a man and he's stupid and he likes you. Have you seen the way he stares after you?" Anja asked honestly.

"Kind of hard not to," Mikaela answered. She spotted said culpit staring at her now and sent him a coy smirk. He quickly turned around, much to her amusement. The Hunter soon got some teasing from Adair too, which made him more irritable. "Guy's an open book."

"And what about you? Do you like him? Ya plain hard to get?" Anja asked

Mikaela snorted. "I don't think 'like' is the right word. Curious maybe."

"Well, why don't you try put your curiosity to the test? And if you don't like it drop him" Anja suggested.

"Meh, it's not quite that simple," Mikaela replied. "When I say 'curious' it's more 'confuses the hell out of me'. I can't figure that guy out. I mean, he's a walking paradox."

"Oh. Well maybe I can help." Anja offered.

"Oh? You got any insights?" asked Mikaela with a smirk. "I suppose you could have some since you travel with them all the time."

"Yeah. I try my hardest." Anja chuckled

"So what do you make of Blondie then?" asked Mikaela.

"I think he's a whiney, pansy ass little, fucker" Anja replied truthfully. "And I don't much care for him."

Mikaela laughed at the description. "I think he's a selfish bastard with no sense of tact or shame."

"Another good description" Anja smiled.

"Though for a selfish bastard he sure hates himself a lot," Mikaela added. "I swear he must be a masochist or something. And he's sensitive about the stupidest things. He's made such a big deal about that bad luck of his."

"Mine's almost the same. What's the big deal" Anja shrugged

"I don't know. It's not that bad," Mikaela replied. "Just something else for him to whine about I guess."

"Seriously. And he can't emphasize at all. I mean, it took me a few days to get over the fact that I should be dead, and being pissed that they had to weaken themselves to save me, and all he wanted to do the entire time was tell me I was stupid for feeling the way I did and that I was an ungrateful bitch" Anja stated
