Adair pushed himself up. "Alright, the cafeteria it is."

"That's what I thought." Anja smirked.

(Both)

"This way then," said Adair, getting up and leading the way.

(Omen could be fun. Falcon too.)

Anja smiled and grabbed his hand. She let him lead her.

(Caleb was who I was thinking)

It didn't take long to find the place. It was swarming with changelings and demons. It looked like they would have to wait in line for a while.

(oh yeah he would be good too)

Anja held Adair's hand and leaned on his shoulder slightly.

Curtis got in line right behind them. "So you guys made it after all."

"Hmm? Oh hi." Anja mumbled to him.

"Hey Curtis," Adair greeted. "And shouldn't we be the ones asking that?"

"I'm not that fragile," Curtis growled back. "Where's Voltaire?"

"Heading off to the training room last time I saw him," Adair replied.

"What's up?" Anja asked. "You need him for something?"

"Not really. Just wondering why he wasn't with you two," Curtis replied. He turned to Anja. "So, how's life as a changeling?"

"I kicked Voltaire's ass. I puked up part of my soul." Anja stated. "I think I deserve a treat." She looked to Adair expectantly.

"After food," Adair assured, wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

Anja smiled with a small blush. "Okay" She mumbled. That had not been what she ment.

Eventually they got to the buffet, which was well picked-over but still had plenty of good food. Adair gathered up his meal on his plate and then started looking for a free table.

Anja did the same. She stayed close to Adair.

(I say cat fight)

"So what do you think of this place?" asked Adair.

(Well yes, but the technical term for a fight between girls is cat fight, lol. Bella get too close and Anja claim her 'territory' so to say)

"Eh. I don't like large groups of people and I'm still getting used to the whole demon bits." Anja replied

(I know, just joking)

"It takes a while," replied Adair, as a group of lion men walked by with huge slabs of meat on their plates.

Caleb came over, now in human form. "Hey."

Anja looked up at the boy in disinterest before turning back to her food.

Adair glanced around Caleb, expecting the other Wolf to show up like she usually did.

"Belle's busy eating," Caleb explained. "SO we got some peace for now. Who's the new Phoenix?"

"Anja." Anja replied simply.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Caleb," the brunette greeted casually. "So she nicer than Voltaire?"

"Taire's scared of her," Adair replied with a lazy grin.

Caleb friendly smile faded into wariness. "Should I be scared of her too?"

"Probably."

"Only if you get on my bad side." Anja replied. "Like Volty did" She gave him an evil little smirk.
