Lost In Time (MSPA)

Dave followed him out into the semi-dark alley a few minutes later, shivering a little at the temperature difference. The Timetables appeared at his fingertips a few seconds later at he looked at Karkat expectantly, his expression guarded.

Karkat shivered, but it had nothing to do with the cold. He shook his head slowly. He didn't want Dave to be close enough to feel his heart racing like it was.

"I thought you wanted to go home," he commented, taking a couple steps toward Karkat. "What's wrong?"

Karkat held up a hand to stop him. "Stay back." He hissed softly.

"Look, I already said to just forget about it, okay? I'm not gonna fuckin' press the matter if you're that fuckin' upset about it. So just forget about it and get over here so we can go home."

Karkat shook his head. "I would rather stay here than be that close to you right now." he snapped, trying to cover the way his stomach just jumped to his throat.

Dave grumbled angrily and stormed over to Karkat, pulling the boy into the proper position to use the Timetables. "I'm not gonna fucking rape you or anythi-" he stopped. "Gogdamn your heart's beating fast." Dave's own heart sped up a bit at the realization as he speculated on what it could mean.

Karkat growled and tried to pull away. "Let me go!" he snapped.

"No fucking way, man. Maybe if you tell me what the fuck is wrong with you but, otherwise, no dice. I'm not about to let you run off and get lost. I don't know if I could find you if you did," Dave said, sliding his arms around Karkat's waist and holding him in place. By this point Dave's heart was thundering in his ears and he was sure Karkat could probably hear it, making him feel very embarrassed and very uncool.

"You're what's wrong with me!" Karkat snapped without thinking

Dave's face flushed, and he knew that he would have to be very careful with his words and actions; this situation could turn out very well or very, very poorly. He tilted his face so that his lips were only just barely touching the shell of Karkat's ear. "I am?" he asked softly. "Then I guess I could say the same for you, Karkat. Not just anyone can make a Strider act like a complete fool."

"You mean you weren't already?" Karkat snapped sarcastically. "Joy."

"Shh," Dave soothed, running a hand down Karkat's chest and letting it rest on the Troll's hip.

Karkat shuddered and fell silent, his heart racing faster.

Dave was vaguely surprised that Karkat had actually listened to him, but pushed that thought to the back of his mind. He took the pointed tip of Karkat's ear into his mouth and worried it slightly between his teeth as he slid his other hand down to the troll's hips; he slipped the tips of his first two fingers into the hem of Karkat's pants and rubbed lightly at the boy's hip bones.

Karkat hissed and grabbed Dave's wrist, lurching forward slightly and grabbing Dave's shoulder with his other hand. He had to reach across his chest to grab the opposite shoulder so the grip wouldn't be awkward, but it was the whole reason he was still standing. He made a small noise that sounded like, but definitely was not a whimper.

Dave drew in a sharp breath at the noise, then moaned hotly into Karkat's ear, unable to contain himself. He pressed himself flush against Karkat's back and tightened his hold on the boy's hips, sliding his fingers further past the hem of the troll's pants.

Karkat hissed loudly and his grip on the wrist of the intruding hand tightened. "S-stop" Karkat whimpered. "N-not here, don't do this here"

"Where?" he asked, his voice husky with desire. "Back to the Veil? Or LOHAC?"

"Fuck, I don't know" Karkat hissed, giving way to a tremor and a small moan. "J-Just not here!"

He reluctantly released the Troll's hip, taking Karkat's hands in his own as he placed their fingertips on the Timetables. His brow furrowed as he concentrated on the time and place he wanted, trying not to let his arousal fuck him up.

When the world stopped spinning around them, they were standing outside the remnants of Dave's apartment building in the Land of Heat and Clockwork.

Karkat's knees were shaking. He could feel it, the firmness and heat of Dave's cock as it pressed to his back. He could feel it even over the stifling heat of LOHAC. And he wanted to feel more of it.

Dave pressed himself more firmly to Karkat's back and let his lips rest ever so lightly against the shell of the troll boy's pointed ear. "Shall we go inside?" he said softly, his voice only barely audible over the sound of the whirring and clacking gears in the background.

Karkat nodded, moving one foot only to stumble and nearly fall for his weak knees. he blushed as he rightened himself and stayed put, waiting for Dave to lead the way.

Dave stayed behind Karkat, but moved to place his right hand in the small of the troll's back and lace the fingers of his left hand together with the boy's. He led Karkat to the door like that, opening the door for them, and guided the boy straight to his room. He made sure to support Karkat so that the boy's knees wouldn't give out on him again as they moved through the apartment, dodging piles of smuppets and random pieces of laundry. Dave had been loath to move or change anything since Bro had died.
