"Oh," Melly answered. "Well I would think Edwin would be happy to have two of his best performers have a baby. That means the kid would be especially good. Are both Summer and Gao human, by the way?"

Mu shook his head. "Edwin doesn't like Kids. And Summer's a Neko. Gao's a panda imp like Hao."

"Oh okay," Melly answered. "Well Edwin should try to like kids more. Little kids, especially cute or talented ones, can attract big crowds. A lot of that audience are kids themselves."

"I dunno what his problem is." Mu stated

"That makes it harder to help with then," stated Melly sadly. "Everyone's afraid of saying what their problems are because it makes them look bad or weak, but if it's something really bad then you probably need help with it. People don't seem to get that."

Mu shrugged. "He's a sick one. He has a twin too" Mu smiled "His twin is nice"

"Edwin's sick? With what?" asked Melly.

"In the mind. He's twisted." Mu stated. "Likes to try and molest his twin."

"...Oh," Melly answered awkwardly. "How does he get people to work for him then?"

"He pays good. And usually Teddy keeps him in line. They're a thing most of the time." Mu stated.

"Teddy?" asked Melly.

"His name is Theodore. But we all call him teddy. He's the fire dancer." Mu stated

"Cool! I've never seen one of those," Melly admitted. "Is he human or something else?"

"Human" Mu smiled.

"Wow. That makes it all the more impressive then," answered Melly. "Not bashing humans or anything, but fire usually isn't their specialty."

"He's cool" Mu nodded.

"He sounds hot," said Melly. "With all the fire I mean. Sorry, bad joke."

Mu shrugged. "I guess. If you're into that kind of thing"

Melly wondered if she hit a sore spot.

"Well I like things with fluffy ears and tails too," she added, tugging gently at one of Mu's ears.

Mu giggled. "That tickles"

"It's soft," said Melly, rubbing it a little more before she let go. "Fire is pretty, but it's not very touchable."

"My tail is softer" Mu stated proudly.

"Oh is it?" asked Melly. She watched the happily swishing tail and wondered how she could catch it.

Mu caught his tail and held it still. "Wanna feel?"

"Sure," Melly answered, petting it a few times. "Yeah, it is softer. It's nice."
