Sweet as Sugar

Melly took a sip of her apple juice as she tried to think of something to talk about. They had talked about so many things already. "Have you ever seen any other red pandas, imp or otherwise?"

"Once. When we met Kail. It was one of the animals, but I didn't get a really good look at it." Mu replied.

"Just that one time, huh? I guess you red pandas must be rare," Melly remarked. "I mean, everyone's seen a regular panda at some point, even if it was just a drawing, but I'd never even heard of red pandas before I met you."

Mu shrugged. "I get that alot"

"So are there other kinds of pandas?" asked Melly. "Like green pandas or blue pandas or polka-dotted pandas?"

"I don't know. I guess its possible." Mu shrugged.

"Oh well. I think I would still like red pandas best," Melly teased.

Mu smiled. "Good." He purred

Their pizza arrived hot and steaming.

"Alright!" said Melly, taking a piece of the everything side.

Mu paused before doing the same. He took a cautious bite.

Melly took a bite. "Ow, hot. Should've waited first."

Mu quickly swallowed. "It's good though"

"Yeah it is," Melly chirped, blowing out some excess hot air. "Usually its good to wait a minute or two before eating it though." She took a gulp of her drink.

"So you don't burn your mouth?" Mu asked

"Exactly," Melly replied. "I'm bad about that."

"Me too actually" Mu smiled. "Especially with sweets."

"I don't know many people who can resist sweets," said Melly, blowing on her pizza slice this time. "I mean, place ice cream or chocolate in a public place long and it probably won't be there long."

"I like all sweets though" Mu smiled. "Does that make me weird?"

"Not at all," Melly replied as she ate her pizza. "I know a friend of a friend who couldn't stand sweet stuff. He liked sour things. Now that, in my opinion, is weird."

"Gao and summer like Spicy things. Actually so does Teddy" Mu stated.

"I know Steven likes Mexican food. A lot of that stuff is spicy," said Melly. "Uh, who else was there? Oh, Rayna likes spicy stuff."

"Kail and Hailen like salty stuff. Especially fish." Mu smiled.

"They're the merman people, right?" asked Melly, as she finished her first slice and went for the next.

"Yes. But Kail also likes salty vegetables. And he's ment to be freshwater, cause He's a Koi."

"That's a bit odd, a freshwater fish-person liking salt," Melly remarked.
