Ross chuckled softly. "Pretty much. I can't really get into that sort of crap. I perfer the battle classes and physical education courses."

"Battles classes?" asked Mikaela. "I'd like to see some of those later. It's important to know how to fight."

"Yeah," the prince added. "Especially in the tournaments."

Ross chuckled. "The battle classes are special. Mainly for creatures with natural abilities that need to be controled or for people who plan to join the royal army. I'm only in because I have isues with my were instincts acting up and messing up how I think during situations."

"In other words beast instinct kicks in at the wrong times," replied Mikaela boredly.

Ross nodded. "Yup. I'm much better then the other guy. He's my room mate. He is a bit odd."

"What kind of demon is he?" asked Mikaela.

Ross laughed. "Actually he's some odd type of Imp! A demonic breed I guess. He is paranoid as hell and keeps weapons stashed all over his side of the room. They're trying to keep him from freaking out and stabing random people out of fear."

"Lovely," Mikaela remarked dryly. "Blondie's kind of like that."

Ross chuckled. "I guess everyone knows someone sort of like that."

"I suppose so," replied Mikaela. "Not really his fault, I guess. He's an outlaw whose constantly on the run from those Gale Hero guys, so he kinda has to be paranoid. He's a phoenix changeling."

Ross nodded. "I'm not sure who or what's after Darrius. I think he's just used to people trying to kill him in his sleep or somthin."

"I'm amazed the Phoenixes don't kill each other sometimes," Mikaela remarked. "They fight all the time."

Ross blinked curiously. "Do they not just rise again later on? Or did I sleep through the lecture on phoenixes and creatures like that...." He shrugged it off, not too worried about it.

"They aren't actually phoenixes, just phoenix changelings," Mikaela explained. "Just like we aren't really dragons, just our familiar. Now if we evolved then that would be a different story."

Ross shrugged. "I doubt i'd get it. I'm not really up to date with the diferent kinds out there. I like to stick to knowing what's dangerous against me and who I know."

"We run into a lot of kinds while we're traveling," said Mikaela. "But there are still a lot I've only heard of."

Ross chuckled. "Like what? I'm sure I know someone around here that you haven't seen their kind in person. Hell, one of our teachers is a plant."

"...How does that even work?" asked Mikaela.

Ross shrugged. "He explained it once to us but it was confusing. He was made by humans to be a super soldier. Ya know, survive off sunlight and water, control nature blah blah. But he didn't quite like that life and ran off. He's safe here so he teaches botany."

"How appropriate," Mikaela remarked. "So does he look more animal or more plant?"

Ross shrugged. "He looks pretty human actually. He needs sunlight and water every once and a while but he walks around like anyone else. We can visit him in the green house if you want. He's fairly nice for a veggie."

"Most plants aren't that vicious to start with," replied Mikaela. "But sure, why not?"

"There was that huge venus plant that tried to eat us," the Prince reminded.

"Oh yeah, forgot about that."

Ross chuckled. "Mr.Ark has one of those. It's a very large plant. He tends to send vegetarians to feed it."

"Does it eat the food the vegetarians bring, or the vegetarians?" asked Mikaela with a smirk.

Ross chuckled. "Most of them just lose a couple fingers or a hand. Ark does not like people that only eat plants. He thinks it's horrable."
