Thunderstorm

Mikaela was in fact unfamiliar with the sport, but was getting tired of looking stupid. "Oh yeah, yeah, that sport where they throw around the brown thing and stuff. Well I just prefer it not thrown at my head."

Ross shrugged. "The helmet helps to keep people from getting too hurt. It's not really a woman's sport anyway. It's no wonder you don't seem that interested."

Mikaela snorted before tossing the football back to the nearest player. "It's not like I couldn't play. It just doesn't strike me as that fun."

Ross shrugged. "Alright. Whatever you say. So do you guys want to go get somthing to eat first or look at the class rooms?"

"Class rooms," Mikaela replied. "We can eat later."

Ross nodded. Moving quickly and easily down stairs. "Do you want me to drive us or would you guys rather we walk. I don't want you two wussing out for the day cause you can't handle a car ride."

"Walking's fine," said Mikaela.

"Maybe we could do the car ride later," added the prince. "That was kinda fun."

Mikaela groaned.

Ross chuckled. "Alright. It will be a bit of a walk though. The dorms are across the campus from the main class buildings."

"That's nothing," replied Mikaela boredly. "We're used to traveling all day long. A little walk won't kill us."

Ross shrugged. "Alright. I guess we should head to the science building.."

"What's done there?" asked the prince.

Ross chuckled. "We learn about the differet sciences. Like; biology, anatomy, geology. Crap like that. They have neat stuff and a morgue in the basement." He grinned.

"What's a morgue?" asked Mikaela lazily. She didn't know what the science names meant either, but didn't feel like asking.

Ross shrugged. "It's where they keep the dead people for study. Mostly medical students get to poke at them. I don't get to look."

Both Mikaela and the prince froze.

"They what?" Mikaela hissed. "The dead are to be respected, not poked at or whatever the hell they do!"

Ross chuckled. "The people that are down there willingly donated their bodys to science. They're used to teach the students about biology and how the body works."

Mikaela wasn't sure what to make of that. "But...what about their afterlife? They'll be miserable all cut up."

Ross shrugged. "Maybe they think it's worth teaching people how to save more lives now. Most of the students that take these classes become doctors and nurses. Plus some of the bodies are used for testing and learning about different illnesses."

Mikaela had never thought about it that way before. "I...suppose so. It just seems strange."

Ross shrugged. "I know it's weird but it's also interesting. Even I have a donor card."

"Well either way I don't think I want to go there," Mikaela answered.

Ross shrugged. "Alright. Then we can go to the building for magical studdies. It shouldn't be too crowded this early."

"That sounds more interesting anyway," answered Mikaela. "What kind of magic is it?"

Ross shrugged. "They teach whatever they can find teachers for. Though they don't allow dark magics here. You'd have to go to the spiitual district grave yard to find necromancers and stuff. It's weird."

"So it's healing, divination, elemental, stuff like that," Mikaela guessed.
