Ross shook his head. "Not really. Most of the people at the school will have to deal with dangers once they leave. Maybe even while they are here. There are dark forces everywhere on the island."

"I thought threats got evicted," said Mikaela.

Ross sighed. "Students can be but otherwise there are things that just don't go away. Spirits from the war are everywhere."

"Oh," Mikaela replied. "I know some ghosts knights too. Completely out of their minds as far as I'm concerned. Can't even understand them half the time with their weird old talk."

Ross nodded. "You should listen in on the history classes. They talk about the ghosts that haunt the six castles in the kingdom."

"Maybe I should do that sometime. See if I recognize any names," Mikaela replied. "Those ghost knights are always talking about castles and chivalry and how everything's messed up now and crap."

Ross chuckled. "You should see the banshee that haunts the royal palace. That is a scary piece of work."

"Oh god banshees. We had some of those as spectators at one of our matches," Mikaela answered, grimacing. "Damn those things are loud."

Ross shrugged. "She's not exactly a banshee. Just a very loud angry spirit. But she has a voice tht peels paint and ruins electronics."

"Joy," Mikaela replied dryly. "Why doesn't someone just stuff a sock in her mouth then?"

Ross chuckled. "She's dead, you can't do much about her. She is worse the closer you are to the place she died."

"Most ghosts are, from what I've heard," Mikaela replied. "There are so many types of ghosts."

Ross chuckled. "Yeah, they tried to make classes to study them but no students would sign up."

"I wonder why," Mikaela replied dryly.

Ross shrugged. "It's not like it would help anyone twards their major. A pointless creepy class."

"Did they try recruiting ghosts?" asked Mikaela.

"If they join up to the school it's their choice. We haven't had any ghosts want to join the school." He shrugged.

"Ghosts are stubborn. It's hard to teach them anything new," said Mikaela. "Like the current date of the year."

Ross nodded. "Yeah."

"Yeah, like that one ghost who kept saying that King Arthur ruled everything," the Prince piped up. "We kept telling him that was a long time ago, but he didn't believe us."

Ross shrugged. "That's why I dont' even try with them."

"Yeah, no point," Mikaela agreed. "Any other werewolves besides you on campus?"

Ross shrugged. "There's one teacher but I think he's off visiting someone. Weres are hard to find on the island."

"Really? I'd think there'd be more of you," Mikaela replied. "Weres aren't that unusual."

Ross chuckled. "Most weres though have packs. They don't leave their countries as often. I was adopted by my parents and they didn't know what I was till I was older."
