Rain Dance

"If I knew that, I'd be summoning wings whenever I felt like it," Voltaire grumbled. That dream had something to do with wings, didn't it?

Adair's golden wings flapped sluggishly, and then more vigorously. He soon lifted off and began to circle the ceiling.

"Well, if its anything like what you did, he'll be fine and stop in a minute." Kimi sighed.

Voltaire still had trouble getting his my around it even as he watched. Sleep-singing was one thing, but how could he not remember doing something like this?

Adair circled the ceiling a few more times, began to lower himself, and then flew out the room.

"Fiery! Come back!" called Ava, hurrying after him.

"That's new" Kimi stated, sitting back up. "We should go help" She slipped out from under the covers and stood, still only in the shirt.

"Pants," he reminded, pointing to the discarded clothing nearby as he stood up. "Otherwise you'll make more of a sight than Adair."

"You go then, I'll catch up" Kimi stated, moving over to scoop up the discarded pants.

"Right," Voltaire answered, dashing off after the other two.

Adair's flight seemed to be aimless, sometimes flying high, sometimes flying low. The Ravens stopped their bickering to stare at the Hero as he flew over them.

Kimi pulled the pants on and ran after them barefoot. "Don't wake him up!" she warned Voltaire as she caught up.

"If he hasn't woke up yet, I don't think he's going to," remarked Voltaire. He jumped aboard Ava to save effort and energy.

Adair flew up to the height of the cavern, where he circled a few times before starting to spiral downward.

"Well don't wake him!" Kimi repeated with a small frown.

Ava carefully positioned herself under Adair. Instead of flying around here like he had been, the redhead gently landed on her back, his wings growing more lax. Voltaire tried to get a closer look at the wings but they suddenly burned up before him. Adair's singing faded, and he began to snore instead.

Kimi stopped next to them. "And that's what happened to you!" She stated, slightly out of breath.

"It is very strange," said Ava, gliding down and landing next to Kimi. "I can't fly in my sleep. And how can you see where you're going when you're asleep?"

"If I remembered at all I would tell you," Voltaire replied somewhat dryly, though Ava had brought up a good point.

"Maybe he's using his singing to find obstacles like echolocation" Kimi suggested.

"Maybe," replied Voltaire, as Ava turned and began to go back to the cave. Voltaire wondered how many others had seen Adair's sleep-flight.

Kimi followed them closely. "Are we going back to bed now?" she asked with a yawn

"Yes," Voltaire replied, also yawning. "I don't know what time is, but I know it's not morning yet. We need to get as much rest as we can before the match."

He knew that he would be fighting with Kimi tomorrow. Adair was going to feel like crap when he woke up.

"Right" Kimi agreed. She rubbed an eye sleepily.

Voltaire leaned against Kimi sleepily. He wondered if they should bother going back to the covers, or if they should just sleep on Ava's back instead.

"Cmon." Kimi murmured, deciding for him. She led him back over to the blanket and slipped the pants back off.

"Mmm," Voltaire hummed, already half-asleep as he slunk back under the covers. "Night Kimi."

"Night" Kimi smiled as she slipped under after him and cuddled

Voltaire wrapped his arms around her, and soon slipped into slumber.

Kimi woke up still in Voltaire's arms. She snuggled closer to him with a small smile.

Voltaire woke up a few minutes later, blinking the sleep out of his eyes.

"Morning Kimi," he greeted.
