Rain Dance

Kimi's face flushed slightly. "I know." she replied.

Voltaire chuckled. "I'd kiss you right now if I wasn't eating. Garlic breath is not appealing when kissing."

Kimi blushed a little darker before saying what was on her mind. He had to be talking about himself, she only had fresh fruit on her plate. "Its not like I would mind. I quite enjoy the taste of Garlic from time to time."

"I'm not talking about the taste. I wouldn't be eating this garlic bread if it didn't taste good," Voltaire answered, holding up the half-eaten bread stick. "I'm talking about the smell." He breathed a little onto her to get his point across.

Kimi rolled her eyes. "Obviously you've never had to be around a Hel'ruc demon before. Most smell worse than a little garlic."

"Well, there were those guys after you left," Voltaire began. "But I was too busy beating the crap out of them to really smell them."

Kimi shrugged with a small smirk. "Proving your superiority?" she asked

"Something like that," Voltaire replied casually. "Isn't that the point of fighting in the first place?"

Kimi chuckled lightly. "Males and proving their dominance."

Voltaire shrugged. "If you're strong enough, it works. You've probably noticed that most of the changelings at these tournaments are males."

"I have." Kimi giggled lightly.

"I can't tell you if it's because we're stronger, or that we're just more stupid," Voltaire replied with a smirk.

"Probably a mix of both." Kimi chuckled. She finished her fruit and stood up to take her plate back.

After finishing up his bread Voltaire followed.

(fast-forward to cave when ready)

Kimi plopped down on the fur blankets with a sigh. She raised her arms and made an immature grabbing gesture to Voltaire. "Cuddle." She stated.

Voltaire plopped down right next to Kimi, embracing her.

Kimi cuddled into his chest. "Mmmmm." She purred. "Taire, I love you"

"Love you more," Voltaire replied, nuzzling her hair and placing kisses on top of her head.

Kimi smiled and crawled into his lap. "NmMm." She purred, nuzzling his neck. "I love you more."

Voltaire placed some kisses on her shoulder. "We could argue about this all day."

"So?" Kimi asked. "I still love you more."

"We both love each other into infinity. How's that?" answered Voltaire, tracing a few light kisses up her neck. He felt a slight stinging in his back but ignored it.

Kimi made a light hum when he kissed her neck. "okay." She wrapped her arms around him tighter.

Voltaire gave her some smooches on the face, before nibbling on her ear a little.

Kimi let out a giggle. "Taire, we have to leave soon" she whispered in his ear.
