Some Things Just Can't Be Understood

Pheobie blushed. "Oh"

"But that didn't happen, and so we got the kid," Maple replied. "So...guess we need to get baby stuff. And parent stuff."

Pheobie blushed darker. "D-do you still want to leave?" She asked

"Huh? You mean this place?" asked Maple. "We can't raise the kid here, not with all the corruption we have to work with. Hell, you can't be around that stuff either, not with the kid."

Pheobie blushed and nodded again. "O-okay"

"That being said, we should stay here for your morning sickness stage. That would be too awkward to travel with," said Maple. "And I have to let people know that I won't be able to do my job for a while. But after that we should leave."

Pheobie nodded slowly. "Okay" She sat up.

"Let's see...anything I'm forgetting?" asked Maple.

"I-I don't think so" Pheobie mumbled shyly.

"Alright then," Maple said. "I guess I need to get one of those parent books or something."

"I'll stay here" Pheobie mumbled.

"Alright," Maple replied, getting up to leave. "And if you feel strange in any way don't hesitate to call the medical wing. The people there can be rude, but they do all they can to help."

"Okay" Pheobie smiled "I'll remember that:

"Later dear," said Maple, as he walked outside.

Pheobie smiled and laid back down to cuddle the bear.

Maple never knew how much stuff he had at his room until he tried to pack it all. He had estimated two hours and it was taking at least twice as long.
