"If we didn't have hormones ourselves, we'd never want to do-"

"What are you talking about?" Ava asked curiously.

"Nothing."

"So what you're trying to say is that is is always the man's fault?" Anja asked, ignoring Ava in favor of the answer

Adair groaned, knowing he had talked himself into a corner. "...Something like that, I suppose."

Anja smirked. "Thank you."

"So you ready to go?" asked Adair, asked he began to climb up Ava's back.

"I guess. I mean where else can I go? Your demon has my heart." Anja replied, matter of fact.

"Well...yeah, you have a point," Adair answered.

"We just didn't want you to die," added Ava.

"Its okay Ava. I'm just giving Adair a hard time" Anja smiled. "I don't mind sticking around with you and him." She glared at Voltaire. "Him on the other hand..."

Voltaire snoozed right through her threat.

"At least he doesn't snore," Adair noted blandly.

"We should leave him anyway." Anja stated.

"Ava's got his heart too, remember?" Adair replied. "Besides, who else will we pick on later? Are you coming up?"

"Give me a second. I've never climbed up anything bigger than a pony before" Anja stated, unsure of how to climb up.

Ava crouched down more to lessen the climb. "Is that better?"

Anja blushed. "Um, yeah, thanks" She hurriedly tried to climb up.

Adair helped pull her up the rest of the way. "Sometimes we have trouble with that too."

Anja sat comfortably in front of him. "Thanks."

"You're welcome," Adair answered, as Ava took off into the sky. The Hero wrapped his arms around her and rested his head on her shoulder.

Anja smiled slightly. "You're too nice to me Addy" She mumbled.

"Tired," Adair replied, yawning loudly before settling back down on her shoulder. "You're nice and warm."

"I wonder why" Anja stated dryly.

Adair missed the sarcastic comment, having already sunk into sleep.

(fast-forward whenever ready)

Anja didn't fall asleep. She was a little worried that she would fall off.

When they finally landed, she lightly elbowed Adair awake. "Hey. We stopped"

Adair was singing in his sleep and did not wake up. Instead he held her closer.

Anja blushed but let him hold her. "Ava, where are we?" She asked

"In the last part of the mountains," said Ava. "Next tournament a few days away."

Voltaire went over to Adair, poking him. "Hey you, wake up."

Adair's song grew more annoyed, but he stayed asleep.

"Hey. Heeey," Voltaire repeated, poking him some more in the back. The Hunter was suddenly knocked back and off of Ava as two flares of fire erupted from Adair's back.
