"Who?" Anja asked with a raised brow

"That guy that was just here. He's a changeling. One of the Ravens," Adair explained.

"And I'm the other!" greeted another teen in bright-red gentleman's outfit, popping upside down from the leaves above. "Name's Omen! Having fun, ladies and gents?"

After getting over the initial shock Adair blew fire at the Raven, who quickly ducked out of range.

Anja jumped in surprise and nearly fell out of the tree. She growled angrily when she righted herself. "I vote we either find a more private place, or take our chances with the blonde."

"This blonde?" asked Adair, pointing to Omen, or where he was supposed to be. "Oh, 'Taire. Eh, we might as well go back."

"Come now, I'll only watch," said Omen somewhere above. For someone dressed in bright red he was surprisingly good at hiding himself.

Anja glowered at the foliage. "Screw you!" She yelled, jumping out of the tree.

Adair was tempted to set the tree on fire but decided against it. It would be a waste of a perfectly good pear tree, and Omen would escape anyway. He also jumped down, heading for the cave.

"Sick Bastard." Anja grumbled as she followed him.

"Agreed," Adair said flatly. "Taire can be a pain, but Omen's worse. We won't get any kind of privacy while he's around."

"I can't believe the nerve of him!" Anja exclaimed.

"I can, but I'm used to him," said Adair, sighing. "Me and Ruben and Bowan had to deal with him a couple times before we were changelings. Well he was already a changeling, but me and Ruben and Taire weren't yet."

"What's with Ruben?" Anja asked. "He seemed scared."

"He stumbled onto our make-out and had the normal awkward reaction," Adair replied with mild amusement. "That's what his problem was."

"So he wasn't scared you were going to kick his ass?" Anja asked as the stepped into the cave.

"Well, maybe that too," said Adair.

"Hi," Voltaire greeted lazily, leaning against a sleeping Ava. There was a large fire still burning where some meat remained cooking.

"What you catch?" Anja asked, taking a seat by the fire on the opposite side of him and Ava

"Deer mostly. A couple of rabbits. One coyote," Voltaire replied. "The coyote's what's on the fire right now. The other stuff already been cooked and dried for later."

"The Ravens are outside," said Adair.

"So I heard," Voltaire answered with a smirk.

"Tell me, do you have to work at being an ass or does it just come to you naturally?" Anja asked with a hateful glare.

"It comes naturally," Voltaire replied. "And I just heard you guys complaining about them outside. You guys are loud."

"Yeah well, the one's almost as bad as you" Anja snapped

"Omen? Trust me, he's worse," Voltaire assured. "You just don't know him well enough yet."

"At least he was polite." Anja replied

"Polite? How?" both Phoenix changelings asked.

"He introduced himself before being a total pervert." Anja replied

Voltaire rolled his eyes. "And how long do you think he was there being quiet before he introduced himself?"

"..." Anja glowered at him "I hate you" She stated
