Saving Soul

"I hope you get food poisoning!" Anja yelled after him.

Wally poked his head up and chattered at her.

"There any paper in there we can use?" Anja sighed

"We should have some somewhere," Adair replied. "If nothing else we can use the sack Taire's contraptions were in."

"Well, from the sound of it, Wally found something" Anja stated

"Something from the Raven's camp, maybe?" Adair mused. He let go of Anja and went back to the cave. After dealing with some of Voltaire's grumbling about losing half their hunt, Adair came back out with some somewhat worn paper.

Anja spread the paper out on the ground and Wally hopped down. He started scribbling down words with just his claws.

"He has ink glands in his claws, like a squid." Anja stated. "Its a neat concept."

"I was wondering if we would need ink or not," said Adair, watching the little creature work.

"No, He's got his own." Anja smiled. "Oh, he's done"

Wally moved away so they could read.

"What's it say?" asked Adair as he peered over.

Anja grinned. "He found one! About a mile west!"

"Alright," said Adair. He didn't mind beating up some thieves for a few goodies they could use.

"Shall we tell grumpy gus in there?" Anja asked

"Yeah. Give him someone to bother other than us," replied Adair, walking in.

Wally jumped up onto Anja's shoulder as she followed. "Yo, Volty. We're gunna run a little errand over at a theive's stash if you catch my drift. Want to join?"

Voltaire smirked and sat up. "Sure. I could always beat on some thieves."

"Aight. Here's hoping they have something I can use." Anja sighed "We got anything we can carry stuff back here in?"

"Yeah," Adair replied, going over and grabbing some extra sacks.

Ava raised her head sleepily. "Where are you going?"

"Thief hunting," Voltaire replied.

"Oh okay," Ava replied, sinking back down to sleep.

"Good. Wally, lead the way" Anja smiled

Wally lept off her shoulder and started off, Anja in close pursuit.

Adair and Voltaire were close behind, Voltaire slightly ahead of Adair. The Hunter was always the faster of the two, but Adair had better endurance.

Anja stopped when Wally stopped. "I see it." She smirked.

Adair and Voltaire stopped just behind Anja.

"Not much of a camp," remarked Voltaire. "Makes it all the easier to take their stuff."

"Its not a camp." Anja explained. "Its a stash. They hide their stuff here so they don't actually have it if their guild gets raided by heroes who want to turn them in. Thus no evidence."

"So that's why I could never find anything when I tried to do that," Adair replied. "Oh well. What comes around goes around."

"Exactly." Anja smirked. "No offense, but most heroes are slightly predictable and stupid."

She moved forward to the shack.

Voltaire gave a snort in agreement, going down. Adair let out a huff and followed.

Wally squeezed under the door and opened it from the inside.

"Watch out, there's bound to be traps." Anja stated
