Rain Dance

(ouch, I know how you love that thing. Good thing you had a spare :P)

After a hearty meal, a good workout, and a long match that was mostly chasing Omen around the battleground, Voltaire came back tired but satisfied. Adair had a rough time with both Ruben and Omen, so he was still in the medical wing.

(Its actually my cousin's old one but all I had to do was swap hardrives cause they're the same model)

Kimi was all wrapped up in the furs almost right where Voltaire had left her.

Damn she must be tired, thought Voltaire. He plopped next to her, more interested in laying around than actually sleeping. His back felt stiff, probably from where Ruben nailed him in the back with his tail in raven form.

Kimi rolled over and cuddled into his chest with a small purr

Voltaire smiled and gently stroked her hair.

Kimi eyes softly flickered open. She blinked slowly and looked up to him.

"Hey angel," Voltaire greeted. "Good afternoon. Or more like good evening at this point. Tired much?"

Kimi shrugged. "I feel alright now" she murmured

"Well, I'm just-" Voltaire began before he grimaced, rolling over onto his stomach. "Damn back."

"Would you like a back rub?" Kimi asked softly, sitting up, keeping herself covered with the blanket.

"...Yeah, that's be good," Voltaire replied.

Kimi smiled and scoot over so she could gently massage his back, making sure to keep herself covered. For good measure she started blowing white flames on his back as well

Voltaire gave a frustrated sigh. "I feel old."

"Its not energy build up again is it?" Kimi asked. "If it is I won't let you fight next match. There is another match right?"

"Yeah, one more," Voltaire replied, before wincing again. The pain in his back wasn't melting away like it had before.

Kimi frowned. "Who are you facing?" She asked

"Cats," Voltaire replied.

"Is this helping your back at all?" Kimi asked, blowing some more flame on him

"...Not really," Voltaire admitted. If anything, the pain was getting worse.

"Maybe you should go to the doctor" Kimi stated

Voltaire didn't respond. He was singing faintly, even though he was awake.

"Taire?" Kimi asked. When he didn't answer she grabbed her clothes and and pulled them on. "Taire can you hear me?" she tried again

"What?" he murmured, somewhat snapping out of his daze. He sat up only to double over. "Back...back..."

Kimi scowled. "You are going to the doctor and you are not fighting tomorrow." She stated, "C'mon, up."

With some effort Voltaire managed to get to his feet.
