"Oh," Daniel replied. He wasn't sure whether to be mad at Seirra for casting a spell on him without him knowing, or to be mad at himself for not noticing. "What did you plan to do when you became king?"

"I wasn't becoming king. And you're not going to either. Ellona gave up rights to the throne to train as a hero. Gregory will be king after the current king dies." Seirra stated.

"I see," Daniel replied. Apparently his relatives weren't just looking for strong genes. They were looking to keep him out of the way in a noble but unpowerful position. He was more nettled about the family treatment than the loss of position. "It doesn't matter then."
