Some Things Just Can't Be Understood

"I'll get it," said Maple as he carried his own bag. He tried to lift it and failed. "Damn, not even I can lift that. What did you put in it?"

"Whatever would fit" Pheobie replied with a shrug

Maple opened it to find clothes, more clothes, and finally a large group of books. "Here's the problem," he said, taking out the books and putting them into two smaller traveling bags. "There, that's better."

Pheobie picked the box up with a little grunt.

Maple watched with some concern as he picked up the other. "You got it?" he asked.

Pheobie nodded. "Yeah, its not heavy, just awkward to carry"

"Alright, if you're sure," said Maple, carrying the stuff out.

Pheobie followed after him, waddling slightly.

Maple unloaded his stuff onto the ship.

Pheobie put her box down and walked back to Maple's room.

Maple worked on packing what little was left.

Pheobie sat on the bed and watched. "Where are we going after here?" She asked

"Well..." Maple began, pausing. "You know, I'm not really sure."

"We could always go check on the boys" Pheobie suggested

"The boys? You mean Razekar and his group?" asked Maple.

Pheobie nodded. "See if they're okay, if they need anymore food or anything"

"Yeah, I suppose so," Maple replied. It was going to be embarrassing explaining Pheobie's pregnancy to them though.

Pheobie smiled. "I think Goldie would like seeing them again"

"He would," answered Maple as he finished his packing. "Of course that's assuming that they're still there. They can travel worlds independently using Dalios's powers."

"Where do you think they might be then?" Pheobie asked

"That, my dear, is the million dollar question," said Maple. "They could be anywhere."

"Can you call them through the GS?" She asked

"If Razekar's transmitter is still working, then probably," said Maple, picking up the bags. "It doesn't always work though."

"Because of his transmitter?" Pheobie asked

"Yeah. Sometimes it gets screwed up on dimensional trips, or it gets damaged in battle," explained Maple. "He's a cyborg, and the transmitter is usually the least of his worries if it gets broken."
