I Was Born To Love You

Kei nodded slowly. "W-we'll stay here" He mumbled into the fabric of Haniel's shirt. "T-till you come back..." He quivered lightly at the thought of the other, less pleasant Dragoons. He looked up at Haniel through his lashes. "Is it really going to be okay?" He whispered.

"Yes. Yes!" Haniel assured him, kissing his cheek. "I'll only be gone a short while, my sweet Faerie, so don't be afraid." With that, he took to his wings and flew with great haste back to the palace.

Kei curled up on his bed and faced the wall. He was still scared but for some reason, the thought that Haniel would be with him made it better.
