Kimi moaned, her skin flushed green. She nipped at his ear lustfully, wanting more. "Taire~" she purred

(she's a demon. And aren't there other demons/creatures called angels?)

Voltaire gasped, barely able to breathe between her biting and his building orgasm. His head spun as he held her tighter, until it finally came to a head and he released inside of her.

(her species is bitter enemies with another species called Angels. But yes, essentially)

Kimi gasped, arching as her own orgasm struck. When it was over, she lay panting, still clinging to Voltaire weakly. She nuzzled his neck with a small noise of contentment.

(I can't tell you if Voltaire just forgot, or if he just doesn't care lol.)

Voltaire himself lay in a daze, catching his breath. Then he nuzzled her hair, taking in her scent.

"I love you Taire" Kimi murmured. She laid her head on his chest.

"Love you too," he answered, kissing the top of her head. He wanted to just lay there and slip into sleep, but he knew it would be a bad idea. He didn't need Adair or Ava stumbling upon them naked, even if there were covers. He sat up.

Kimi pouted. "Hey Taire? Do you have any extra clothes I can borrow?" She asked softly. "Dresses are getting to be a hassle"

"Uh, yeah probably," Voltaire answered as he put his clothes back on. He tossed her back her dress. "Wear this until I find something." He shuffled through his travel bag.

"Alright" Kimi replied. She slipped the dress back on and laid back down and curled up with the blanket. Now that she wasn't distracted, her neck hurt. She rubbed her neck lightly and her hand came away wet. She glanced down at the blood on her hand with little interest. "You drew blood by the way."

She blew a little flames on her hand to burn up the blood, coughing on the smoke.

"Eh? Well, why didn't you say so?" said Voltaire, abandoning his search for spare clothes to go back over to Kimi. He blew some white flame on her neck to heal it. He didn't know it, but his ear was bleeding some. "Damn, sorry about that."

Kimi reached up and touched his ear lightly. "You're bleeding too. Sorry" she murmured

"Am I?" he asked, before touching it himself and coming away with blood. "Well damn." He laughed, tried to blow some white fire on it, and soon found out he couldn't reach it. "Do you think you can get that? Just regular fire should be enough to dry the blood. It should heal by itself quick enough."

"Alright." Kimi carefully blew fire on his ear. Once again, when she stopped she choked a little on the smoke.

Voltaire chuckled a little despite himself. "When you breathe fire, you have to make sure you exhale the smoke too. Otherwise you end up choking on it. Took me a while to get that."

Kimi smiled. "I'll remember that." She murmured, leaning up to kiss him lightly.

Voltaire kissed her back just as lightly. "Oh, and don't go accelerating with fire unless you have something soft to run into. It's damn hard to control at first. Learned that the hard way."

Just then Adair walked in, looking vaguely annoyed.

"Hey, look who wasn't eaten by wolf girl!" Voltaire remarked with a smirk.

"...I hate you."

Kimi looked guilty. "Sorry" She murmured, hiding her face in Voltaire's shirt again.

Adair didn't pay much attention to Kimi. "Your shirt's on backward, Taire."

Voltaire blinked and looked down. It was indeed on the wrong way.

Kimi bit her lip and let go of Voltaire so h could fix his shirt, instead, hiding under the fur cover.

With some angry embarrassment Voltaire took off his shirt and then put it on the right way. "That better?"

"Yeah," Adair answered. "Wanna go get a drink?"

Voltaire thought about it, which he usually didn't need to do when it came to drinking. "That okay with you Kimi?"

Kimi stuck her head out from under the blanket long enough to nod before hiding again. She was embarrassed that Adair had come back so soon and guilty that he was mad because they told Ava to go find and stay with him.

"Alright. We'll be back later," Voltaire replied, leaving with Adair. He soon noticed that they were going the opposite way of the bar. "Hey, where are you going? Drinks are that way."

"We need to talk about something first," said Adair, still heading for the outside. "Then you'll be more than ready for drinks."

After a few minutes of being alone, Kimi stopped hiding. She retrieved a little bit of food from what Ava brought earlier and started to eat, considering practicing how to not choke on smoke.

As promised to Negae, Adair took Voltaire outside and explained potential...reproductive issues with him.

The Hunter completely missed the point.

"I-I can't handle a kid right now!" Voltaire blurted out, pacing nervously back and forth in front of Adair. "I-I mean, if it happens it happens. I'm not going be an asshole and not take care of it. But with all this crap with the Gales and your heart and the tournament..."

Annoyed, Adair walked in front of Voltaire and firmly placed both hands on his shoulders to stop his pacing.

" 'Taire, will you listen?" he growled. "First, it is possible for there to be a cross, but it rare. Second, there is a high chance that it will not happen in the first place because of how she's been treated. Even if you want kids at some point. That's what I'm trying to say."

"But I don't need kids no-" Voltaire began to protest, before it finally clicked in his mind. "...Heh, it'd probably for the best. I'd make such a lousy dad. I can't stand little kids."

" 'Taire..."

'Look, I'm not gonna hate her for it," Voltaire went on, pushing Adair's hands away. "Like I said, it's probably a good thing anyway."

After Kimi ate, she practiced blowing flame (She didn't choke the last two times she tried!!) then laid back down. She didn't mean to fall asleep, she was just so bored and lonely without anyone else there.
