Saving Soul

"Yeah," Adair replied. "Main issue we have is with the Dragons, since their powers are water and electric-based while ours are fire-based. Most people here we stand a good chance against though. We've fought them enough that we know how to deal with them."

Anja nodded. "Okay, got it."

A large white wolf galloped to them, carrying two smaller wolves on its back.

"Hi Riry!" Ava greeted.

The large wolf merely nodded in reply. The silver wolf on his back on the other hand began wagging its tail and prancing estatically. She jumped to Ava's back and greeted Adair with a flurry of licks.

"Belle!" Adair protested.

Anja didn't like that at all. "Oi! Back off mutt!" She growled, shoving the wolf off Ava's back with her foot. She especially wasn't fond of hearing Adair address the wolf with a girl's name. She was a jealous type of person.

Belle yelped as she got kicked off, but was soon back on her feet growling. Some frosty mist formed around her.

Anja gave a small snort and blew a little bit of fire out. She was not intimidated.

Before any fight could break out Fenrir picked Belle up by the scruff of her neck and carried her off.

"Don't be mean! Belle is nice and friendly," Ava chided.

"A little too nice sometimes," added Adair, wiping slobber off his face.

Votlaire appeared amused by the whole thing.

"Way to friendly." Anja glared.

"No need to worry about the Wolves. They're ice-based," Voltaire added. "Fire trumps ice."

"Thanks for the heads up." Anja stated dryly.

"That being said, I wouldn't want them enemies either," Adair added.

Anja glared at him. "Well I don't want that 'Belle' all up licking your face either." She growled

"I don't either," Adair replied.

"He's never been much for the fangirl type," Voltaire remarked with a smirk.

Without so much as a warning, Anja shoved Voltaire off Ava's back in the same fashion she had shoved off Belle a few moments earlier.

"What? That's a good thing for you!" Voltaire snapped, getting back up. "He attracts that type all the time."

"Oh, I know its good for me. I just wanted an excuse to shove you off." Anja replied. "And the smirk just did it in for me."

"That smirk was for Adair, not you," Voltaire replied as he got up. "You should've seen some of girls that have been after him.

Adair made a face like he didn't want to talk about it.

Anja sighed and slung an arm around the shoulders of both men. "Ava, don't we have shots we need to get?" She asked with a smirk, her grip on Voltaire tightening

Voltaire grimaced, turning away.

"You'll survive Taire," said Adair casually. "You've survived just fine before."

"Yeah, whatever," Voltaire mumbled.

"Time to take your medicine~" Anja chuckled darkly.

"Yeah, you too," Voltaire replied as they rode Ava into the doctor's area. Adair noticed some changelings coughing or hiccupping up bits of soul like Omen had been earlier. Voltaire looked positively miserable at the sight.

"Ah, but I take my medicine with a side of don't give a damn" Anja replied "So I really don't care"

"Yeah, let's see you try that with the soul shot," Voltaire replied with the slightest smirk before a demon rat appeared to whisk them away to one of the separate chambers.

"What's a soul shot?" Anja asked, blinking blankly.

"Do you really want to know?" asked Voltaire with a smirk.
